Side note for anyone curious: yes, Yue's profile is WIP, pending history, but I'm moving this to approved so I can get posting. Yukito is done.
NAME: Tsukishiro Yukito
ALIAS: Yuki, Yue
PHYSICAL AGE: 17
RACE: Created Human
SERIES: Cardcaptor Sakura
HOME WORLD: Japan
APPEARANCE:A high school student of average height, Yukito is a fair-skinned young man with short silver hair and olive-green eyes, typically covered by thin-framed silver glasses. His gentle disposition is evidenced in the smile that rarely leaves his face, while his slender build makes his overall appearance about as far from intimidating as possible.
PERSONALITY:Yukito is the rare sort of person who is not only good at everything he does, but is always willing to put those skills to use for the benefit of others. Polite, generous, and extremely gentle, he does what he can to please those around him, often volunteering to help the clubs at his school when needed despite belonging to none of them. His selfless nature and near constant smile are magnetic, leading him to draw people to him without even trying.
On those occasions where something does trouble him, Yukito tends to hide it from others, not wanting to worry them with his private concerns. While this facade works well enough on most people, Touya has learned to see right through it - though this doesn't stop Yukito from trying.
ABILITIES AND SPECIAL SKILLS:Yue:
One of the Guardians of the Clow Cards created by Clow Reed, Yue resides within Yukito as his true form, and may emerge whenever he chooses. Yukito has no recollection of events when this happens, but, since discovering the truth of his nature, has learned to recognize when Yue has taken control.
HISTORY:As far as Yukito's memories are concerned, he was born and raised in a town in Japan, living with his parents until they died in his final year of middle school. With his immediate family gone, he relocated to Tomoeda to live with his grandmother and grandfather, who were frequently away from home.
Those memories were a lie. Yukito is, in fact, the false body of Yue, the moon guardian of the Clow, created to contain him until he was able to resume his own form. He didn't exist until he took up residence in Tomoeda, and his early life and memories of his grandparents are nothing more than a fabrication of convenience.
Upon entering school, however, he met Kinomoto Touya, and the two formed a quick and unshakable friendship. Yukito immersed himself in school life, where he excelled in most everything, easily warming to his new classmates and surroundings. From the start, he was generally well-liked among the other students, quick to smile and offer help whenever it was needed.
For the next three years, life was stable, simple, and more or less normal. But partway through his sophomore year of high school, things started to slip. Yukito would suffer periods where he remembered nothing, suddenly finding himself in a different place than he last recalled being. He was constantly exhausted, no matter what he did, and as time went on, it grew worse and worse. Finally he began collapsing without warning, and at that point, Touya stepped in.
Touya wasn't normal. Yukito had already known that. He could see spirits and detect unusual things that escaped everyone else, but when he finally stated that he knew Yukito wasn't human, that came as a shock. Suddenly, he was faced with the concept that not only was his entire nature a lie, but his memories, as well, were false, and as Touya explained later, he came very close to disappearing entirely. Sakura, Touya's younger sister, had become the master of Yue, who resided within him, but as a child, her magic wasn't strong enough to support his existence. It was Touya who saved him, giving his own magic to Yue so that Yukito would survive.
At that point, their relationship changed. Touya acknowledged that he loved Yukito, and Yukito returned his feelings. Touya was a constant, one of very few things in his life that he felt he could depend on; when he found that his memories were lies, it was Touya's promise that his time with him was all true that reassured him. His presence was a comfort, and something he was sure he would always have.
With the knowledge of Yue's existence came acceptance. He would live as Yukito whenever possible, but at the same time, he was willing to acknowledge that the guardian within him would awaken whenever he needed to. He would live a dual life, and Touya would be the stability in it.
