SETTING:
If it's been in a CLAMP manga, it's fair game. We include all of their series, so locations that appear in more than one, like Tokyo, contain anything that's been established canon there in any of them.
CHARACTERS:
Canons and originals are allowed. CLAMP establishes that characters may exist separately in more than one world, but we adhere to that only as far as canon does. What this means is that, if a canon is taken - or established in another world - you can't get around that by making another version unless another version exists in canon. For example, Touya and Yukito appear in Cardcaptor Sakura and in Tsubasa's Clow country. If the CCS versions are taken, you may take the Tsubasa versions, as they're distinctly different, but you can't make a Rayearth version. Multiple appearances of a character can get confusing, though, so if you're going to take a character out of their original established canon, you'll need some way to identify your version. Icons in posts, a different way to address them, whatever, try to keep it clear.
Regarding dead characters, there are a lot of dead characters in canon, but that doesn't mean they can't show up here. Any character from any CLAMP series is available!
MAGIC:
There are a lot of kinds of powerful magic in CLAMP's manga, but let's not go overboard. If your character can see the future, don't go creating scenarios for others without their permission. Anything involving character foresight must be established and agreed upon out of character beforehand. This goes for any of the more powerful magical abilities: transporting others between worlds, memory reading, etc. Remember, it's about plot quality, not showing off what your character can do.
